2024: I'm back in a much smaller way but I'm back!!! After having to move out of my 1000 sq ft art studio summer of "22 I got rid of most of my workable material. (close to 20K pounds of scrap metal!) That and the scrap yard closed a few years ago means what little I saved is what I have to work with but as long as I still have JUNK I will make what I can when i can.
ABOUT SHIPPING: Lets just say they raise the price every few months (or so it seems). Trust me I'm not trying to make extra profit on shipping costs. My work is heavy, even the small stuff... I use the cheapest method (I check USPS, UPS and FEDEX) and will refund overcharges of $2 or more without being asked and if it ends up going UPS instead I will let you know so you can expect that carrier to deliver it. Etsy calculates shipping and sometimes its off in your favor, rarely in mine but if so I refund.

Shipping rates
On large heavy pieces I check/choose FEDEX or UPS if less and refund overcharges of $2 or more without being asked. FEDEX and UPS do not deliver to USPS PO boxes but they DO deliver to mail box store PO's. Etsy only calculates via USPS, know too that sometimes calculated shipping for combined items is 'off' and if so I will refund overcharges.
Care instructions
Keep in mind that just because many of my pieces are heavy metal, things can still break if dropped on the floor. I nut and bolt objects, epoxy them and weld. (even heat welded objects can break if hit just right) I take great care when shipping to protect your art through transit. I am not responsible for what happens to it after you get it! If a pet or child knocks something over and it crashes to the ground and breaks it does not reflect poor craftmanship on my end! Also, keep in mind that I am working with found materials that are aged and in many cases pretty rusted ~ if you leave them outside you can expect more rust over time due to humidity/wetness. If using indoors keep away from sink areas or where water is present.
More Care Info:
If over time you notice any rust forming that doesn't bode well with you, GENTLY sand the area and spray or brush on an oil based varnish/polyurethane. Heavily rusted pieces,kitchen & jewelry holders are usually painted and/or varnished twice.
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT RETURNS:
Due to high shipping costs and that in over a dozen years I have only have 1 or 2 returns, I am not offering returns or exchanges. But please do contact me if there are problems & we can discuss options. I list many pics & do my best to describe everything so there should not be 'surprises'. Check to make sure you are getting the quantity & item(s) that you think you are getting by reading the info.
If we agree upon a refund or exchange you are responsible for the cost to ship back w/tracking & sending me the tracking #. Once I receive it I will refund you or send out an exchange but you must contact me first and discuss options.
*Orders returned to me for any reason (wrong address etc) will not get a refunded ship cost from the order.
